Topic: Moths 101: Biodiversity and the Link to Plants

Speaker: Dr. Brian Scholtens, Biology Department, College of Charleston

Lecture Description: Dr. Scholtens is an assistant professor at the College of Charleston in the Biology Department where he teaches Entomology, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, and Introductory Biology. The lecture will provide an introduction to the world of moths, emphasizing their natural history, and feature his work on moth biodiversity in the Southeast.

Meeting Location and Parking: Enter Byrd Hall from Jones Ave and follow the hallway to the back of the building into the Auditorium. Free parking is available after 5:00 PM in the parking lot south of Richardson Street, accessible from Mims Ave.
