DATE CHANGE Field Trip: Hutchinson House on Edisto Island

PLEASE NOTE THE DATE OF THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CHANGED TO SEPTEMBER 29th!

Join Tom Austin, Land Protection Specialist for the Edisto Island Open Land Trust, for a tour of the Historic Hutchinson house grounds where we will explore the blooming native plant meadows and pollinator gardens, as well as learn about the non-native, yet historically present, sea island cotton. 

Participants should expect an easy walk through the grounds, but are encouraged to prepare for buggy and muggy conditions. Please wear light-weight long sleeves and pants, bring bug spray, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. Water is a must!
