Midlands Count for the Great SE Pollinator Census

What a wonderful way to get to know our native plants: watching the life that comes to visit them! Ceated by the University of Georgia, the Great Southeast Pollinator Census is for everyone to participate in and make a difference for pollinator conservation! Spend 15 minutes counting the insects that visit a plant, and document it in this community science project. We can show you what to look for and how to count. Count for as many 15-minute blocks as you like over the two days!

GARDEN LOCATIONS:

At Saluda Riverwalk (650 Candi Lane), look for our table near the pollinator demonstation garden by the parking lot. We will have counting materials.

At Rosewood Park (901 S Holly), look for us at the garden near the intersection of Montgomery Ave, and Pembroke Ave. The parking lot is off of Elm Ave.

If you can't make our events, join one of the following activities organized by The City of Columbia. Celebrate at the community potluck at Rosewood Orchard Saturday evening.
