Summary
Description

Help maintain the SCNPS Grand Strand chapter's native plant demonstration garden in downtown Conway. This garden shows the community how native plants can be a beautiful addition to their home landscapes!
We will be pulling weeds, tidying up, cutting back old vegetation, and potentially planting new plants. This volunteer event involves high exertion (kneeling, digging, working with tools, etc.). Participants must wear close-toed shoes, long pants recommended. Participants should bring their own work gloves and basic gardening tools (trowel, pruners, loppers, etc.). Please bring plenty of water. Participants may also want a hat, sunscreen, bugspray, and any personal items (e.g. snacks, medication, etc.). Volunteers must be at least 12 years old.
Location: Conway Marina Native Plant Garden, next to the Conway Outpost restaurant (4 Elm St, Conway, SC 29526).
Time: 10AM - 12PM
Registration required. Max of 6 volunteers.
