Summary
Description

Chelsea Plantation was recently protected through a collaborative effort between the Nature Conservancy and many partners. It will eventually become a public state forest, but until then, the best way to see the landscape is to join us for a tour of this exciting conservation success! We will be led by TNC's Land Steward, Brinton Shinn, who may be joined by other local conservationists. Space is limited!
Brinton is a 2020 Clemson graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology and a minor in Forest Resource Management. Shortly after graduating, Brinton managed habitats on privately owned lands in the ACE Basin. Today, he is the Land Steward for the Nature Conservancy where he has the opportunity to use his expertise managing local lands like Chelsea Plantation.
