Stevens Creel Heritage Preserve Tour - Savannah River Chapter

Stevens Creek Heritage Preserve has a 1.9 Mile hiking loop (moderate difficulty). Tour, led by Linda Lee, will focus on plant and shrub identification. Be sure to bring: water, maybe a snack and optionally a walking stick. Car Pools will be coordinated as we get close as parking is limited.  The preserve still looks kind of beat up from Hurricane Helene — don't be shocked if you haven't seen it since then — but the trail is cleared. The trout lilies seem to be late this year, but hopefully everything else will be on schedule.

Recommendations to bring: 1) Shoes with some traction (parts of the trail can be a little slippery if they are wet) and possibly a walking stick; 2) possibly sunscreen if it's warm - the canopy may not be fully leafed out by then. 3) Water, maybe a snack.
