Description
Featured Speaker: Josh Arrants
Presentation: “Falling Into Autumn: Stories & Connections of Native Species in SC”
Join us for our September monthly meeting at the Hughes Main Library, where we welcome Josh Arrants, nationally recognized naturalist and educator. With the autumnal equinox just around the corner, Josh will share engaging stories of South Carolina’s native plants and their deep ties to the natural world. As the season shifts from summer to fall, discover how changes in light and temperature set in motion new chapters in the lives of plants—and the animals that depend on them.
Josh brings more than 25 years of experience working with endangered species, monitoring wildlife populations, and teaching natural history across the country. Expect a lively, thought-provoking evening that will leave you seeing your local landscape in a whole new way.
