Pee Dee Chapter Potting Party

Potting Party & Barn Raising!
 

Who: You, native plant enthusiasts! Come on out.

What: We will be potting native seeds into flats, and building two small “kit” greenhouses.

When: Saturday July 19^th at 8:30am until finished or 11am, whichever comes first

Where: President Marigold’s house – when you register you will receive the address in downtown Florence. She has a concrete pad perfect for the small greenhouses with access to hose water.

Why: The goal is to set up our natives for the Fall Plant Swap in September! 
How/Supplies: If you have native seeds to donate, please bring them! We have leftover seeds from the Spring Seed Mix that many of you received if you encountered us in person at an outreach event, field trip, or meeting.  We also have lanceleaf coreopsis seed from a member's garden. We will provide potting mix, soil, and some seeds. Please BYO gloves and water bottle. (Note - we do not need generic “wildflower mix” packets which are usually not all native.)
