Presentation: “Native Plants for the Vegetable Garden”

Adam Bigelow, a seasoned horticulturist and botanist based in Cullowhee, NC, has dedicated over two decades to the study of Southern Appalachia's diverse plant and wildflower species. In his talk with us this month he will cover the importance and impacts of using Native Plants in our landscapes and gardens, and how most every role of a plant in a garden could be filled by a Native Plant that also helps benefit the ecosystem and surrounding environment.
