A guided walk in Lynches Woods 

Sunday, May 26, 2024 Field Trip

See the beautiful maywhites in bloom!

Please join Dr. Charles Horn on Sunday May 26 at 1:00 pm in a hike through Lynch's Woods Park to explore the flora within the park.  We plan to see the May-white azalea (in full flower) and have a look at pawpaws (young fruits) and the piedmont aster (though not in flower).  This leisurely hike should last about 2-3 hours and cover about 2 miles

Dr. Charles Horn of Newberry College will be our host.

This field trip is limited to 15 participants.  Registration is now closed.
