Presentation: “Native Plant Conservation and the SC Botanical Garden”
Join us for our May monthly meeting at the beautiful South Carolina Botanical Garden, where we welcome Dr. Martin Hamilton, Executive Director of SCBG. Martin will explore the vital role botanic gardens play in conserving native plants—from seed banking and ex-situ collections to research, education, and habitat restoration. He’ll also share ongoing and upcoming conservation projects at the Garden, and how community involvement is key to protecting South Carolina’s native flora.
