Description

Join your Chapter President, Laura Lee, and Chapter Vice President, Juliana Smith, for a walk down the Spanish Moss Trail. We'll be identifying the plants we encounter, making note of invasive species to flag for potential removal. Despite being located in an urbanized area, the Spanish Moss Trail is a haven for native flora across several types of habitats. Join us to see what's growing near you! This will be a leisurely walk on a paved trail. Bathrooms are not available, so plan accordingly!

When: Saturday, April 5th, from 10am - 11:30am with an option to extend.
Where: Spanish Moss Trail Depot Road Access, 2860 Depot Road, Beaufort, SC 29902 (Google Maps Link) Parking is availble at this location. Due to the size of the parking lot, carpooling is encouraged.
What to bring: Wear comforable shoes, sun and bug protection and you're encouraged to bring water, a hand lens, snacks.

Spaces are limited! Registration is required!
