Description

Our March Chapter Meeting will be held in-person with a talk led by our very own Chapter President, Laura Lee Rose, who will be teaching us how to identify invasive plant species that are in our area. This talk will serve as prep for April's field trip where we'll be touring the plants of the Spanish Moss Trail and flagging invasive species for potential removal.

Laural Lee Rose is a native of South Carolina and has lived in the Lowcountry for many years. As a Certified Nursery Professional and recently retired from the Clemson Extension Serive, she taught Master Gardner classes and encouraged professional landscapers. She is a board member of the South Carolina Native Plant Soceity and the President of the South Coast Chapter. Laura Lee encourages the use of native plant material and sustainable landscaping. She enjoys spending time with her Grandchildren.
